About the Event:

Join us monthly to create and learn together as a community through our virtual Encounter Creativity events. Each event is intended to provide you tools and resources to incorporate creativity as a mindfulness practice into your daily lives.

This month we offer space to create and discuss recent events happening in the Middle East. We believe and celebrate the dignity of each person and acknowedge the tragedy that millions of people are experiencing right now. With such devestation comes collective grief, fear, anger, hatred, and sadness.

We do not have solutions to what is happening but we do believe in the collective and finding ways to come together through creativity. We believe creativity can alchemize sorrow, process anger, and create peace within and will use creativity as a tool to gather as a community. This month will be led by Dr. Sam Rosenstein, one of our Board of Directors. He will bring his own creative practice into this space to lead the group in a project and reflection exercise.

CULTIVATE THE CREATIVE accepts all people within our community and hopes to create a safe space free of discrimination, violence, and hatred. We welcome you to join our events and will ensure they are accessible and inclusive to all. We are here for YOU.
